HI ZEV........lets hope u listen im going to start this post in hoping u will get some people who know what they are doing to call these games.Alot of players are getting pissed off at the stupid ass questions in hey situations and replacing live batters with gamebreakers.i said i would stay and stick it out but im letting u know and im sure alot of others will tell you it is starting to blow its boring its slow and its like your monkies wont listen to anything we are saying and we are the regulars sticking it out .i really do hope u will look into this and give us a response.if u need a good caller im sure there are few of us regs who would give up a game to call and produce for airplay.airplay players feel free to voice your opino because thats they only way they will listen.ps stick the polls up yer ...

I agree that there needs to be a question associated with every batter... It takes the fun out of the game when we only get 1 question per inning at some times.. What is worse, we often do not get a question for some of the best hitters. It must be agonizing for Bo not to get a question at times when Jeter leads off an inning... It can not simply be enough for Bo to watch his at bat while looking at his poster on his wall... lol.. The best part about this game is the great competition involved and the chat we have while competing... Please fix this for all of us players.

I love the football, I love the basketball, but this baseball is painful. Bo is right the questions are sometimes VERY bad. I played football and basketball daily or as often as I could but I have to be REALLY bored to play the baseball. I do think you can fix it with better, different questions. I may have worded it a little different but I do think Bo is on the money with his post and I do hope you guys listen or you are wasting your sponsers money

Also these callers need to ID themselves at each game. Some callers really muff up a game. Most people can tell you I don't complain to much I just roll with the flow but some of this stuff is geting way out of hand. And we need to know if it's the same people doing it all the time who ever it is needs to be reported but how is one to report someone if they don't know who it is. ( ID THE CALLERS AT EACH GAME ).
Another beef I have and this really needs to be corrected ASAP!!!!!!!!! Please STOP advertizing a game and then take it off the board at the last second. Most of the time I set reminders that goes to my e-mail the ones I want to play. I get an e-mail saying come on in it about to start and after I sign in it's been taken off the board. PLEASE NO MORE!! IF YOUR NOT GOING TO PLAY A GAME DON'T WASTE MY TIME OR TIME OF OTHER WHO SHOW UP FOR A GAME THATS BEEN TAKEN DOWN. AND THEN YOU DON'T HAVE COMMON SENSE TO EXPLAIN TO US WHAT HAPPENED.
Damn suppose you were to go out on a date and she stood you up? You would be like wtf?? Well we say the samething wtf?? when this happens to us.

To begin with, I'd like to thank Airplay for their great football and basketball games, and the good job done on the US Open. I'd also like to thank Airplay for the attempt at a baseball game. However, I feel I have to point out a few observations to help make this game entertaining. The biggest problem I see is the lack of consistancy from one game to the next. Some games are entertaining with three gamebreakers per segment, an overall half inning question, and questions on each batter. This is a good blueprint to follow. It keeps players interested in the Airplay game by offering anticipated chances at points, i.e. the player can expect when there are questions to answer. There have been times when players get just one question in a half inning. Sometimes we get them like the aforementioned blueprint. There doesn't seem to be a consistant pattern to the asking of questions.
Next problem I see is the questions themselves. I understand that you all are adjusting the questions and I appreciate your efforts. However, please keep in mind the most entertaining questions are the ones that offer the most choices. Asking if a runner is going to be stranded when he's at first base with one out does not really constitute an entertaining question. In baseball terms, a stranded runner is one left on base at the end of an inning. So the stranded runner question is in a bit of a gray area when asked with one out. The best questions you have are the ones with multiple choices.
The biggest problem I see however is with the scheduling of the games themselves. One would figure any nationally televised game would be covered. ESPN games are well advertised. They always have a game on Sunday night and a couple of games on through the week, Fox always has games on Saturday. Many times the only game available is a Yankees game or a Cubs game. Here in AZ, I don't get the YES channel, I don't get Comcast. I don't mind playing "blind" when that's all that's available, but when I'm watching an ESPN game, I would expect Airplay to produce that game to reach the widest possible audience. If this game is going to attract a greater audience, you need to make the nationally televised games a priority.
I understand this is still in the developmental stage so I have no problem giving Airplay alot of leeway here. And I don't mean for this to be a nagfest, after all these are free games we play so I have nothing but time invested. I merely wanted to take the opportunity to point out some weaknesses that have become apparent over the last month or so. Yes, I would have rather seen a game more structured along the lines of the basketball or football games, but this format can also be entertaining if done with a little more consistancy. Thanks for your time and efforts.

Here we go again another complaint what's new. First off whoever called that Yankees & Mets game the 1st game of a doubleheader had NO clue what they were doing. Please SOMEONE explain to me why the GB's were left unlocked until the bottom of the 3rd, 6th, and 9th innings? This needs to be addressed.
Also is there away to ID these callers doing these games so we can just flat out tell you who they are when we have a problem with one of them? Then you have those who are VERY TRIGGER HAPPY they lock the question before you can even reach for your mouse. wtf is that? Personally I like airplay baseball and I really enjoy the great people we have playing this game but if there's not some changes done and done fast those great people that I just mention aren't going to keep wasting there time playing this. There's a few people on the edge right now about to quit. Awhile back I told my friends about this and they like it some what but it's really starting to make me look like a total DA because I was telling them how great airplay is. You already have only about 20 people playing baseball as it is and half of those aren't even playing. And the person who gives us those 50 and 75 point BS questions is crazy. I can pick up 50 points for cutting off my computer alone. Let's get this problem fixed ASAP!!!!!!!!!!! I've never been the type to do alot of complaining about anything not just in here. So when I start complaining there is something really wrong.
Not all is bad though. Whoever called the Oakland / San Fran did a great job tonight. He mixed up the question and the points up and kept us thinking instead of making us fall asleep.
Thank you. We all thank you if you look into this ASAP and get these problems fixed.

I quit palying baseball after the first week. I thought from the start it should of been set up like basketball so you could cheer on players, which is what sports is all about, calling each play is just WAY to much and the question game is just nuts, you cant watch the game or enjoy it because you to busy reading what really are some lame questions. I Love airplay and every other game but my favorite sport is just getting the bad end of the stick. Poor set up, poor playability and poor producing. All I have seen in the forums have shown it has even gotten worse. I will just keep playing SDP until football starts. Although it really is sad that you made a sports game completely un-fan-friendly. Sorry guys but you made it so you cant cheer for players. That is a fundamental mistake. To many deal or no deal guys working on this project and not enough football and basketball guys.

Last night's game (Sunday night, Phillies/Cards) was horrible as far as the caller went. The AP "monkey" missed a ton of questions, answered questions improperly or incorrectly, shorted us gamebreakers and at times didn't even run the game and/or put up the questions whenever they "felt like it".
Now you can tell me all ya want about how you may have been having technical difficulties cuz i don't believe it. I think tiz more of a bad/inept employee problem......Morning game was just fine as far as the playcalling went....even with the tech diffs that occured.
Please get on the ball Zev.........We are getting rather bored of the same ole BS with some of your AP Baseball calllers and when football season starts....we may just lose interest in AP Baseball altogether.
Personally i love the game when it is run properly, but feel like i've wasted my time when it is NOT....Thanks
 BAX

Hey tizight every game you play counts towards your Lifetime points. Example if your playing Baseball your overall score goes towards the Baseball leaderboard so if your overall score at the end of the game is lets say 25,000 that goes towards the Baseball leaderboard only. At the end of the game lets say you have 2,500 those points count towards your Lifetime points. Hope that clears it up for ya...
